Volkswagen is on rise while BMW and Opel slipping
On Paris motor show Volkswagen people are enthusiastic about current year’s sales and are fully optimistic for 2009 while Opel and especially BMW report significant cut in sales this year hit by global ecomonic crisis.
Skoda Cuts Production
The global financial crisis is full-blown. The Czech maker of quality and not so expensive cars, Skoda Avto, has announced that they are cutting the production volumes in response to European slump of new cars sales.

The new Fiesta is soon on sale throughout Europe. It seems to become one of the most attractively styled superminis challenging the 207 and the Corsa. Purely fantastic!
Infiniti Goes To Europe
Finally the Nissan’s luxury devision are turning to Europe with a bunch of sporty executives and crossovers. Will it have more luck than Lexus, their Japaneese friend as well whose sales are pure pity in Europe. At least, Infiniti still lacks diesel options that seem essential for mather Europe.
